Apparently the reported bug was in taglib, and this is fixed in upstream trunk https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=278773

Ok I am happy to let you guys know that taglib-1.7-3.fc16 fixed the issue. I scanned my whole 800 gig's of music lib and it it not crash. Thanks for the exact details on how to install and test for you guys..
