I would like to request that a description "field" be added to the overview display of virt-manager. Add an option in the view menu to display it or not. There is a description entry in the VM's xml file, but it's far to large for display. I am more looking for a small functional description of the VM. An alternative would be to have this text displayed when one hovers the mouse over the server entry.
Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
I think showing the guest description in a tooltip for the guest row in the main window is a good idea, should be an easy addition for 6.2
I agree
