After having installed the cherokee web server, it is not automatically started at boot (I need to do a "service cherokee start" everytime).

cherokee ships a native systemd unit file, but there are a few problems with it: 1. The unit file is placed incorrectly under /etc. It should be in /lib.
2. It does not have the required RPM scriptlets. See:

Note that Lennart is not quite happy with the current contents of the section "Packages migrating to a systemd unit file from a SysV initscript" and there is an ongoing discussion in:
