SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/gconftool-2 from 'connectto' accesses on the unix_stream_socket @/tmp/dbus-gPVB9kNIu4. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that gconftool-2 should be allowed connectto access on the dbus-gPVB9kNIu4 unix_stream_socket by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep gconftool-2 /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context unconfined_u:unconfined_r:telepathy_msn_t:s0-s0:c0 .c1023 Target Context unconfined_u:unconfined_r:unconfined_dbusd_t:s0-s0 :c0.c1023 Target Objects @/tmp/dbus-gPVB9kNIu4 [ unix_stream_socket ] Source gconftool-2 Source Path /usr/bin/gconftool-2 Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages GConf2-2.32.3-1.fc15 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.9.16-21.fc15 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 2.6.38.4-20.fc15.i686 #1 SMP Thu Apr 28 23:45:59 UTC 2011 i686 i686 Alert Count 2 First Seen Tue 03 May 2011 02:19:07 PM EEST Last Seen Tue 03 May 2011 02:43:07 PM EEST Local ID 9bdd0956-3321-4b85-9246-87ba1921e9ed Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1304422987.376:91): avc: denied { connectto } for pid=15216 comm="gconftool-2" path=002F746D702F646275732D67505642396B4E497534 scontext=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:telepathy_msn_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tcontext=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:unconfined_dbusd_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tclass=unix_stream_socket type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1304422987.376:91): arch=i386 syscall=socketcall success=yes exit=0 a0=3 a1=bf8dedd0 a2=4590db90 a3=8ead250 items=0 ppid=1760 pid=15216 auid=500 uid=500 gid=500 euid=500 suid=500 fsuid=500 egid=500 sgid=500 fsgid=500 tty=(none) ses=1 comm=gconftool-2 exe=/usr/bin/gconftool-2 subj=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:telepathy_msn_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 key=(null) Hash: gconftool-2,telepathy_msn_t,unconfined_dbusd_t,unix_stream_socket,connectto audit2allow #============= telepathy_msn_t ============== allow telepathy_msn_t unconfined_dbusd_t:unix_stream_socket connectto; audit2allow -R #============= telepathy_msn_t ============== allow telepathy_msn_t unconfined_dbusd_t:unix_stream_socket connectto;
If you just start and stop the telepathy domains, this should go away. You can just log out and log back in and everything should work.
