the display shutting off is probably just a side-effect of the resynchronisation when the video mode changes. Are you actually seeing any acpi related problems ? That PBLK warning is fairly common (google for acpi pblk). It seems to be caused by BIOSes with broken tables rather than a kernel bug, so you'll probably need a BIOS update to make that go away. I don't see any kernel bugs here.. Matthew ?
