cropped menu

Description of problem:
The menu items in the 'Jump to Section' are cropped in IE8.  The same elements are correct in IE7, FF and Chrome. See attachment.

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log into and navigate to Administration>Configuration>System Settings and click on 'Jump to Sections' drop down with an IE8 client.
  
Actual results:
Cropped menus.

Expected results:
Regular menu listings.

This is not an issue in the feature/gwt-upgrade branch (maybe fixed by smartgwt or newer IE8/IE9 support).

Tested with IE8 on windows.
