cannot return / resume from hibernating in F15, with KDE.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. hibernate
2. power-on
3. resume, then either:
 * display corruption (may or may not be related), or
 * kernel panic 
  
Actual results:
one of those: 
*kernel panic / display corruption (must switch to another tty and reboot)

Expected results:
no error

Additional info:

The first time i tried to hibernate in this machine, the i experienced total display corruption when resuming. rebooted, and tried again, the second time, a kernel panic took place.
