How to reproduce
-----
1. Opened nautilus session on user desktop from gnome-terminal in which I was root
2. Browsed to directory containing videos. Compiz crashed whilst video previews were being generated

With a couple of windows playing video (Movie Player and VLC, IIRC) on my compiz-managed desktop, I attempted to move/resize one of the windows.
