Description Need Real Name 2002-08-04 17:43:52 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020724

Description of problem:
In gnome menu, menu item "AbiWord" is linked to run "abiword" but "abiword" is
not present on system. AbiWord is, however.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install limbo #2
2.run gnome.
3.Menu: All Applications->Office->Abiword

Actual Results: Dialog pops up saying
<b>Can't launch entry</b><p>
Details: Failed to execute child process "abiword" (No such file or directory)

Expected Results: AbiWord should start.

Additional info:

The abiword-1.0.2-3 contains the runnable program as
/usr/lib/AbiSuite/bin/AbiWord, and the install script creates a wrapper script
/usr/bin/AbiWord.

Either change the menu target to "proper" case, or (preferable to me, FWIW), lc
the wrapper in /usr/bin or create a link thereto as all lower case, in the
grand old UN*X tradition of avoiding unnecessary capitalization.

Already fixed in 1.0.2-4 in rawhide
