Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a RAW picture produced with a Tamron 70-300 mm F4–5,6 Di VC USD in a program using exiv2, such as Digikam or Darktable 2. Display the metadata; the lens is identified as a Canon EF 28-105 mm 3. Actual results: Programs using the exiv2 library (such as Digikam and Darktable) have no way to recognize this lens. Expected results: The Tamron 70-300 will be properly recongnized. I'm running Fedora 15, and don't find any new revision in the repository; I still have exiv2-0.21.1-1.fc15 and yum doesn't seem to propose anything newer.
