Installed the test updates (btw this is F15, not F14). Still unable to dismiss the "about" window--close button does nothing. Have to kill the process.
I can't reproduce the issue with the same build. The about window closes both when clicking 'close' and when closing via the title bar (or when hitting Esc).
Created a new test user and ran a test with the default gnome-3 graphic setup. gnome-do close button DOES dismiss the "about" window there. But this machine is configured to use the "Forced Fallback Mode" on an Intel® 915GM driver. The close button FAILS under these conditions.
Hmm... I'll try to reproduce this in fallback mode and on an F14 test system as well.
The issue is still reproducible on F14 and in fallback mode (I wonder if it's related to compositing vs. lack of compositing somehow). The bug has also been reported upstream[1]. [1] https://bugs.launchpad.net/fedora/+source/gnome-do/+bug/813889
There's a fix for this that's been committed upstream - I'll test to see if it works and submit a new build if it does.

Good karma. "About" window now dismisses with close button.
