Description of problem: perl-SOAP-Lite provides a bogus "perl(LWP::Protocol)": # repoquery --whatprovides 'perl(LWP::Protocol)' perl-SOAP-Lite-0:0.712-4.fc14.noarch perl-libwww-perl-0:5.836-1.fc14.noarch perl-libwww-perl-0:5.837-2.fc14.noarch Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): perl-SOAP-Lite-0:0.712-4.fc14.noarch Expected results: perl-SOAP-Lite not to provide LWP::Protocol Additional info: AFAIU, this bogus provides originates from perl-SOAP-Lite trying to internally override/overlay the real LWP::Protocol. It should be filtered.
This affects EPEL-5 too, where it had been fixed previously (Bug #557485) and was re-introduced when the Fedora version over-wrote it for the 0.712 version bump.
Indeed this was a mistake. 0.712-5 filters this out again.
