Hide Forgot
It would be great if the package used the official icon with higher resolution (i.e.: http://media.moddb.com/images/downloads/1/24/23190/hedgewars.png). Specially for Fedora 15 and GNOME-Shell. Thanks! :-)
The next time I tough hedgewars, I'll work this one in. Due to time constraints, I probably won't do this as a one off, but maybe one of the other maintainers can.
Any updates here? Fedora 17 is coming! :-D
Well we are already into freeze for F17, so it won't be on the release media. But we can certainly change the icon after release. It does look like I missed this when I did an update in January. Though there were some issues to being able to do that that kept me focussed on that. It does look like there is a 512x512 icon in the source now that could be used instead of the separate one that is currently used.
In rawhide, I changed the package to use the upstream 32x32 and 512x512 icons instead of the 32x32 one in the srpm. I don't want to update f17 right now for just this change. But with the change in rawhide I won't forget when I do the next update for F17 and F16.
Great news! :-D Yes, it is not very important, but better to change to the real icon at some point. Thank you.
This message is a notice that Fedora 15 is now at end of life. Fedora has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version' of '15' have been closed as WONTFIX. (Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.) Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were unable to fix it before Fedora 15 reached end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on "Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that version of Fedora. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. The process we are following is described here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping
Note that this has been fixed in rawhide. It may still get fixed in F16 and/or F17 if I need to do another build there.
