Description of problem: When we are viewing a manpage written in Japanese, characters that are meant to be bold or underlined are not displayed correctly. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): man-db.i686 2.5.9-4.fc15 man-pages.noarch 3.32-8.fc15 man-pages-ja.noarch 20110115-1.fc15 Steps to Reproduce: $ env LC_ALL=ja_JP.utf8 MANPAGER='less -s' man man Actual results: Some characters are displayed corruptly where they should be displayed in the bold or underlined style. Expected results: Text is displayed properly.
This problem is caused by groff - 1.21-2 (f15) is affected - 1.20.1-3 (f14) is not affected. Thus I'm reassigning this bug to groff component.
