Description of problem:

In /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/guile-1.8.pc:

Libs: -L${libdir} -lguile   -lgmp -lcrypt -lm -lltdl 

guile-devel should require libtool-ltdl-devel, much as it requires gmp-devel.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

guile-1.8.8-2.fc15

Alternatively, move the -ltdl part to a private entry in pkg-config, if it's not actually needed on the link line.

Should be fixed in guile-1.8.8-3.fc16, the libs in the pc file were moved to Libs.private.

Any chance for a backport to F15 ? We're still hitting this bug when trying to build GnuCash on a clean installation.
