While following bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=714716 I noticed that Fedora already has suitesparse pkg, https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/acls/name/suitesparse that aggregates several sparse libraries: $ yum info suitesparse Installed Packages Name : suitesparse ... Summary : A collection of sparse matrix libraries URL : http://www.cise.ufl.edu/research/sparse/SuiteSparse License : LGPLv2+ and GPLv2+ Description : suitesparse is a collection of libraries for computations involving sparse : matrices. The package includes the following libraries: ... : CSparse a concise sparse matrix package ... whiteout going further into the details is this a different package? If it is I will have closer look and I will review the package.
Its not a different package, so this is not necessary. Good catch.
