+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #711460 +++ Description of problem: These options are not documented in mount.cifs' man page: noexec (is in man mount) nolock (is in man mount) servernetbiosname cifsacl nodev ignorecase noposixpaths prefixpath Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): samba3x-client-3.5.4-0.80.el5 Steps to Reproduce: 1. compare "mount.cifs --help" with "man mount.cifs"
Very reasonable -- I'll see what's missing and look into getting it included. There's also an update needed to the wsize= option for 6.2. I'll close the bug for that as a duplicate of this and we'll fix them all at once...

According to Dmitri's 'Description', set qa_ack+ .
Patch pushed upstream and committed in cifs-utils-4.8.1-3.el6.
Hi Jeff, I check mount.cifs's manual of cifs-utils-4.8.1-3.el6, but 'prefixpath' is not found.
That's (sort of) intentional. The prefixpath= option is really a "private" option that users aren't intended to use -- they should just append the prefixpath to the end of the sharename.
Bug is check on cifs-utils-4.8.1-5, 'nodev' is in 'man mount' too.
