Description of problem: Looks like roxterm does not set TERM variable to something better like dumb in Fedora 15. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): roxterm-1.21.1-1.fc15.i686 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. roxterm 2. echo $TERM 3. mc Actual results: dumb TERM environment variable needs set. Ack this. I've built ROXTerm locally using the upstream build and it fixes this bug nicely. Otherwise, ROXTerm is basically unusable without manually setting the TERM environment variable after launching each window.
I'd be happy to submit an updated src.rpm file, but I don't know what the Fedora policy is on the unwashed masses getting involved like that. ;-)
Because there is no response from package owner (Dan), building new version for rawhide and fedora 15. I think there is no need to build for Fedora 14.
