Confirmed and hopefully fixed.

Comment 2 Paul 2011-07-11 22:13:36 UTC
Thanks for quick confirm and (hopeful) fix. I'll look forward to hearing that fix is verified and pushed out into F14 branch

Paul

It's fixed upstream ... the probability of getting this backported to F14, or F14 getting a rebase is very small.

You can use the rawhide rebuild repo. if you really need it (although rawhide hasn't changed since this was fixed, so you'll have to wait a few days for the next update there too).

F15 _might_ get a rebase, in which case this would probably be included. So, if that happens, you could either move to F15 or use: yum --releasever15 upgrade yum

Thanks for the information.

I can work around it with either vim or sed. I'll plan on picking it up whenever I move up to next release that gets it (F16 or maybe F15)

Comment 8 Paul 2012-01-08 02:21:35 UTC
I am bringing up one of my systems under F16 Xfce and I am not seeing this problem in any of the "yum {update, install} whatever >& whatever.out" out files.

Once again, thanks for fixing,
Paul
