Description Jan Hutař 2011-07-15 10:41:55 UTC
Description of problem:
When I log-in to the Katello (or do other action I guess), message window appears and starts to fade. It hides logout link and I can not click on it until it completely disappears.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
katello-0.1.49-1.git.394.97e6a5d.fc14.noarch

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in to generate "Welcome back" message
2. Right after login, try to click on the logout link in upper right corner

Actual results:
I can not click on it

Expected results:
I can

Comment 1 Jason E. Rist 2011-07-15 18:21:45 UTC
This is intentional. The message fades away after a few seconds.

Side note - why would you want to log out right after logging in?

I'm closing this unless you state that this is a bug because your notifications do not fade away. Also, please specify browser version in the future.

Thanks!

Hello,
this is not only about "Welcome back..." message, but also about any other message. Fixed summary to reflect it.

My browser is: opera-11.50-1074.x86_64

Please note this is low priority, but possible small thing disappointing users (imagine you are in a hurry, wants to just do some action and click logout and run away). What about moving that message into the middle of the screen where there are no functional items?

Comment 3 Jason E. Rist 2011-07-18 19:07:43 UTC
Understood. Moved to middle (between logout and logo) top. Fixed in ffff94199e86e052fe8004ff64b76eeaca59ced4

Comment 4 Corey Welton 2011-08-05 15:35:20 UTC
Verified, testing both standard notifications and error messages.

Comment 7 Mike McCune 2013-08-16 18:08:24 UTC
getting rid of 6.0.0 version since that doesn't exist
