Affects: Documentation (Ref Guide, User Guide, etc.) Date of First Response: 2009-11-19 03:08:29 Both the terms "package" and "knowledge base" are used in the UI - I thought that the decision had been made to rename packages to "knowledge base." See attached screenshot.

So - for the initial Drools5/BRMS release - is the best way to describe this: In BRMS, you have one Knowledge base, which contains one or more Knowledge Packages. In the UI, Knowledge Packages are also referred to as simply "packages." (We should make this clear in the user docs.)
So is this issue a doc issue only?

Len, can you please investigate if this has made it into the docs?
