Description nsdusa 2002-08-24 19:44:47 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Linkadmin.org
custom; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)

Description of problem:
Tried to install (null) on an IBM thinkpad a21m laptop.
Tested CD1: OK
Tested CD 2 and 3: OK
Partitionned, selected packages to install, no problem, installation starts as
usual.
The "Change CDROM" popup appears and prompts me to insert disc 2.
I changed the CD to disc 2, clicked OK and the OK button sometimes remains in
pushed state, sometimes gets back to normal but at every single time, the
installation process is totally stalled and the popup window remains up.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a custom installation of RedHat beta (null)
2. Install your packages until prompted for CD 2
3. Insert CD 2 and click on OK

Actual Results: Absolutely nothing happensfrom there on.

Expected Results: Installation process continues where it left off and
installs more packages.

I have not heard this issue reported - if you try to install from the ISO images
copied to your hard drive does that work?

If you try a text mode install does that work?
