:Just opened thunderbird 5.0 to check e-mails. Has been behaving up till now. Video card has been checked and is
:seated properly in the AGP slot.	Mouse pointer disappeared when this bug alert came up and has now returned for some reason.	Had turned off iptables and ip6tables in order to try and get ypbind to 'bind' but to no avail, worked once now failing again. Had re-enabled iptables and started iptables and closed terminal prior to opening Thunderbird 5.0. I suspect there is an issue with windowing and the video card and 16:9 lcd monitor framework on 64bit as have had similar issues with crt monitor on 64bit fedora 13. Why, because when the title bar is clicked on, the window reframes the content of a webpage to enable the text and graphics to appear as they normally would without the distortion. First indicator of this on gdm logon screen is the lack of a solid graphical mouse pointer in black. Appears white and embossed. Also appears to disappear and return when the system is busy such as when clamav is running clamupdate, so can be hard to locate.
