+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #688003 +++ Request for a wdaemon package in RHEL 6.2. --- Additional comment from pm-rhel on 2011-03-15 22:28:20 EDT --- This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this request at this time. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. If you would like it considered as an exception in the current release, please ask your support representative. --- Additional comment from snagar on 2011-05-16 12:48:09 EDT --- This is a request to add a package to the distribution. Moving to component 'distribution'. --- Additional comment from peter.hutterer on 2011-06-29 02:41:57 EDT --- MODIFIED wdaemon-0.17-1.el6 is available in brew --- Additional comment from cward on 2011-07-18 05:45:29 EDT --- Scott, please ask Disney to confirm wdaemon in beta works as expected. Thanks!
wdaemon doesn't seem to be directly depended on by other packages, so presumably needs to be added to comps...
It should be a default package in the 'x11' group (much as it was in RHEL 5.)
change checked into comps.xml
