Steps to Reproduce: 1. # yum grouplist 1>/dev/null Failed to add groups file for repository: rhel-x86_64-server-cluster-storage-5 - None 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Conga should be able to build the cluster Additional info:
Issue already exists on RHEL 5.6
Can you verify that this is still happening? The groups file for the rhel-x86_64-server-cluster-storage-5 channel had some incorrect data that was fixed a couple weeks back. I just took a look and rhel-x86_64-server-cluster-storage-5 appears to be correct.
We will open new bugzilla.
We have fixed some RHN issues that may have caused this. Please try rebuilding the cluster and let us know.
Created a new bugzilla for similar issue, but i believe is different: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=732483
I have confirmed that the "Cluster Storage" group is now available on RHEL 5.6 and 5.7 The issue from bug 732483 is a separate issue.
@cphillip - Can we close this BZ then?
(In reply to comment #12) > @cphillip - Can we close this BZ then? The previous issues with RHN and the Cluster Storage channel, re: comment # 9 look to be resolved. This BZ should be closed.
I'm still getting this issue on a freshly installed RHEL 5.7 which is registered against a RHN Satellite: [root@rhel57 ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.7 (Tikanga) [root@rhel57 ~]# yum repolist Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security repo id repo name status rhel-x86_64-server-5 Red Hat Enterprise Linux (v. 5 for 64-bit x86_64) 12,100 rhel-x86_64-server-5-linuxlab LinuxLab Channel (v.5 for 64-bit x86_64) 25 rhel-x86_64-server-cluster-5 RHEL Clustering (v. 5 for 64-bit x86_64) 153 rhel-x86_64-server-cluster-storage-5 RHEL Cluster-Storage (v. 5 for 64-bit x86_64) 185 rhel-x86_64-server-supplementary-5 RHEL Supplementary (v. 5 for 64-bit x86_64) 1,100 rhel-x86_64-server-vt-5 RHEL Virtualization (v. 5 for 64-bit x86_64) 424 rhn-tools-rhel-x86_64-server-5 Red Hat Network Tools for RHEL Server (v.5 64-bit x86_64) 490 repolist: 14,477 [root@rhel57 ~]# yum grouplist Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security Setting up Group Process rhel-x86_64-server-cluster-storage-5/group | 107 kB 00:00 rhel-x86_64-server-cluster-storage-5/group | 107 kB 00:00 Failed to add groups file for repository: rhel-x86_64-server-cluster-storage-5 - None Installed Groups: Administration Tools Editors Legacy Network Server Legacy Software Development Legacy Software Support Mail Server Network Servers Server Configuration Tools System Tools Text-based Internet Web Server Available Groups: Authoring and Publishing Clustering DNS Name Server As you can see the rhel-x86_64-server-cluster-storage-5 channel shows up in the repolist, but later on it shows the error in "yum grouplist" and the "Cluster Storage group does not show up in the list of available groups. I ran "yum clean" and "yum update" but this didn't make any difference.
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8 and Red Hat does not plan to fix this issue the currently developed update. Contact your manager or support representative in case you need to escalate this bug.
As per indirect feedback from the reporter, closing as CANTFIX. The previous package distribution issues that may have affected ricci/conga should no more occur and furthermore, there is no way how conga could overcome them; if the packages in question cannot be installed via yum, conga cannot do it either.
