Description Hayato Kakuta 2011-08-01 06:44:25 UTC
Description of problem:

IGMP snooping: bridge is unable to limit sending of IGMP/IGMPv2
membership report.

When a bridge receives an IGMP membership report,
it is forwarded to all ports regardless of
presence of multicast routers. Such an unsolicited
report will cause its recipient Host and VMs to cease
responding, and the bridge will stop forwarding
multicast packets to them as a result.

an upstream commit already has a fix:

  commit 62b2bcb49cca72f6d3f39f831127a6ab315a475d

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

  kernel-2.6.32-131.6.1.el6

Comment 2 Neil Horman 2011-09-21 12:56:14 UTC
This commit has already been pulled in by 716263. Kernel 2.6.32-168 or later will have the required fix.
