When upgrading from RH5.1 and answering yes to write the bootloader with the new installed kernel I got an error unable to.... I tired it two times on different machines using 2940 scsi. When I reboot I got the old kernel and can do it by myself and it works. So I see it as a minor thing. Who wants a new kernel without configuring ???? ;-)
component should be the install disks and I did the harddisk install method
What was the exact error given by lilo, the contents of /etc/lilo.conf, and the list of files in /boot?
