Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 740420
Add a /etc/rsyslog.d config directory
Last modified: 2012-06-20 02:58:41 EDT
Description of problem: F15 added a /etc/rsyslog.d directory that packages can use to supply syslog configs. This would be useful to have available by default in RHEL 6 as well. # Include all config files in /etc/rsyslog.d/ $IncludeConfig /etc/rsyslog.d/*.conf Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rsyslog-4.6.2-3.el6_1.2.x86_64
Since RHEL 6.2 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
I would also like to see this functionality. What is the status of this? Will it make it into 6.3?
(In reply to comment #7) > I would also like to see this functionality. What is the status of this? Will > it make it into 6.3? Yes, this will be part of 6.3. The status 'VERIFIED' indicates this has been approved and implemented.
