Description Vladimir Benes 2011-10-05 11:09:46 UTC
Description of problem:
after suspend of my laptop I cannot see signal levels anymore, everything except connected network shows 100%
This can be fixed via wifi-wext-only=true in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
NetworkManager-0.8.1-13.el6.x86_64
wpa_supplicant-0.7.3-1.el6.x86_64
kernel-2.6.32-195.el6.x86_64

03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Advanced-N 6205 (rev 34)

this is not driver specific as it works the same way on iwl5000 (5100 card)

Comment 1 Jirka Klimes 2011-10-05 12:46:34 UTC
We should test several Wi-Fi drivers as the bug is influenced by using nl80211 supplicant driver in wpa_supplicant (instead of legacy wext). And some Wi-Fi drivers may not work properly with nl80211.
