Would it be possible for you to build rsnapshot for EPEL6? Currently it is only built for EPEL5.
Any reason why rsnapshot wasn't in EPEL for 6? starting to move to el6 and noticed this missing. it is one I use.
I have built rsnapshot for EPEL 6, because it was already branched. Please let me know, if you don't want to take care of rsnapshot, thus I could take it.
rsnapshot-1.3.1-7.el6 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 6. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/rsnapshot-1.3.1-7.el6
rsnapshot-1.3.1-7.el6 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 testing repository.
it is not quite available in the testing repo (dl.fedoraproject.org), but I grabbed the copy from the build artifacts location. setting up my test now. I'll provide the official feedback once the RPM is in the repo and I validate it is the same I am testing with now.
The official rpm is available in the epl-testing. you can install it via: "yum install --enablerepo=epel-testing rsnapshot" please install, test and assuming it is working as expected (aka just like it did in EL 5), please follow the link in comment #3 and give it a thumbs up.
