Description of problem: After updating from RHEL 6.1 to RHEL 6.2 Beta and rebooting the keyboard selection menu in GDM has gone missing. It's not any more that obvious which keyboard layout is in use, potentially causing problems if passwords contains some special characters. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHEL 6.2 Beta
can you attach your /etc/sysconfig/keyboard ?
That's by design. We only show keyboard layouts you have set up now. See bug 628462 if you change that to LAYOUT="fi,us" for instance, then a layout selector should appear
I have mitmanek: $ cat /etc/sysconfig/keyboard KEYTABLE="us" MODEL="pc105+inet" LAYOUT="us,cs" KEYBOARDTYPE="pc" mitmanek: $ However, even when I can click the icon in gdm, I have still US keyboard only.
pretty sure you want LAYOUT="us,cz" I don't think cs is a valid keymap.
i'm going to go ahead and close this out.
