Description of problem: Booting the latest EL6.2 kernel on CAICOS family of radeon cards (radeonhd 6450), gives a garbled screen and can cause memory corruption. this has been debugged upstream and I've tested a backported patch against the 210 kernel and it works fine here. there are low-end GPUs but the problem could cause other problems on all r600 and newer GPUs. we may need AMD help to QA this, as I'm not sure RH QE has the required hw to test.
