Cause: The SAPDatabase resource agent shipped with the RHEL HA add-on was out of sync from the upstream version Consequence: management of SAP database instances within a cluster could fail in certain circumstances due to bugs in the SAPDatabase resource agent Fix: the following patches from upstream were applied: - High: SAPDatabase: Fixed wrong scope of rc variable in service_start/stop functions - High: SAPdatabase: Changed Oracle recovery method from "recover automatic database" to "end backup" - High: SAPDatabase: Adapt process search pattern for DB/2 9.5 - Medium: SAPDatabase: start listener only if database processes are found - Low: SAPDatabase,SAPInstance: improve LD_LIBRARY_PATH processing - Low: SAPDatabase: remove unnecessary usage of eval to start processes Result: The patched SAPDatabase resource agent improves the handling of SAP database instances in a Red Hat cluster environment

Patch to update SAPDatabase ra with fixes from upstream

The SAPDatabase resource agent included in RHEL5 contains multiple bugs that have been fixed in the upstream version. With the attached patch those bugs will be fixed in the SAPDatabase resource agent while keeping the additional patches that were made to our version of this resource agent but were never submitted upstream.
