When the zanata.xml file for a publican project has a server url value with two trailing slashes "//", the client reports the server url with one trailing slash, then fails to locate a corresponding entry in the zanata.ini file.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Modify a working zanata.xml file to put two slashes after the server name, for example "http://zanata-excalibur.lab.eng.bne.redhat.com:8080//"
2. Run zanata push
3.
Actual Results:
The python client reports the server name with one trailing slash, and fails to find a corresponding entry in zanata.ini:

[jwulf@gaura Zanata_Quickstart]$ zanata push --project-type podir
Loading zanata project config from: /home/jwulf/Work/Zanata/Zanata topicized/Zanata_Quickstart/zanata.xml
Loading zanata user config from: /home/jwulf/.config/zanata.ini
zanata server: http://zanata-excalibur.lab.eng.bne.redhat.com:8080/
zanata python client version: 1.3.1
error: Can not retrieve the server version, server may not support the version service
error: Please specify username and apikey in zanata.ini or with '--username' and '--apikey' options

Expected Results:
The python client should show the server url value as it appears in zanata.xml, and as it is searching in zanata.ini, in this case with the two // characters at the end. This would make it clearer what the problem is and easier to fix it.

Comment 1 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 19:16:58 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
