google-perftools currently requires ghostscript and gv, to be used to create pdf and ps. While that's understandable, this make ghostscript and gv installed when someone pull any qemu binary ( qemu -> ceph -> google-perftools ). And since ghostscript and gv pull lots of x11 related library, and various fonts, this pull several megabytes of data for no good reason ( at least, no good reason related to qemu ). Either we split pprof in a separate binary, or we find a way to install on demand the missing binary ( like using packagekit ? ).
