Description of problem: Tested Fedora-16-i686-Live-LXDE RC1: - after selecting Install to Hard Drive from desktop, there appears very quickly a window with some info regarding "installation media present" (?) before the actual installation screen is displayed. Either that "quick" window should be stopped for the user to contemplate and make some decision, or it should not be displayed at all. - Restart/Shutdown or Reboot after Install (to Hard Disk) do not reject (or offer to reject) the CD from a CD drive Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): anaconda 16.24-2.fc16.i686 How reproducible: Run f16 rc1 live-cd. I believe this should be fixed in F18. Please test and let us know.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16. Fedora 16 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2013-02-12. Fedora 16 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
