The attached patch fix the issue, can you alert the upstream please ?

Sorry for this last answer.
I'm unable to reproduice the bug you reported; whatever the way I launch x-tile (from the menu or the command line, with or without the full path to the executable).
Have you modified your Python library path, or installed manually some Python modules?

I have no specific python modules nor a modified python library path. But to reproduce just create a directory named "modules/" on the cwd.
