Description general 1999-12-02 22:53:06 UTC
If you try to install Linux on a multipartitioned machine, you encounter a
nasty bug when the time comes to install LILO. Even if you don't actually
have a bootable O/S on the other partition, the LILO setup will try to set
it as a boot option--and you can't install LILO until you remove that
non-bootable partition as a boot option.

Comment 1 Jay Turner 2000-02-09 14:38:59 UTC
We are now checking for valid bootsectors on the partitions listed in lilo
config, so this is no longer a problem.
