Description of problem: After upgrade to fedora-16 yum is not silent again. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): yum-cron-3.4.3-5.fc16.noarch How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. /etc/cron.daily/0yum.cron Actual results: Setting up Update Process Setting up Yum Shell Setting up Update Process Expected results: --nothing--
Looks like yum is not wholly respecting the flags to be silent again, that's something which has slipped past before. Re-assigning to Seth, as yum-cron is now just a subpackage of yum itself (how do we set this default in bugzilla?), plus he's the guy who'd know where to look in the main yum source to make those print statements obey verbosity levels.
Just for information, there are more messages from you (these looks to be from systemctl started by yum->rpm->...): ln -s '/lib/systemd/system/ksm.service' '/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/ksm.service' ln -s '/lib/systemd/system/ksmtuned.service' '/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/ksmtuned.service' Mey be you can change bug component from yum-cron to yum.
So changed!
