Description Max 2011-11-10 19:23:24 UTC
Description of problem:
   OpenImageIO-devel's summary (the part that shows up larger in Add/Remove software) is "Documentation for OpenImageIO" when it should be "Development Files for OpenImageIO".

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Add/Remove software.
2. Search for "OpenImageIO-devel"
3. Note how the summary of the package is "Documentation for OpenImageIO", when it should be "Development Files for OpenImageIO".

Comment 1 Richard Shaw 2011-11-10 19:34:54 UTC
Ok, I'm not able to test this in Add/Remove software right now but I checked in Fedora SCM and even did "yum --releasever=16 info OpenImageIO-devel" and I can not reproduce this problem. I'll try on my F16 virtual machine when I get home tonight.

As a side note, are you actually using OpenImageIO? I was not aware of any packages using it yet. I built it mainly for Blender in preparation for the Cycles rendering engine merge.

Comment 2 Max 2011-11-10 19:40:43 UTC
I'm using it for cycles in blender (which builds correctly). When I run the command you mentioned, it does show the problem:

$ yum --releasever=16 info OpenImageIO-devel

Whoops! I was just looking at the description, not the Summary.

Got new builds started. This will also update OpenImageIO to 0.10.3.

Thanks,
Richard
