Description of problem: Playing movie with ASS subtitles causes totem and mplayer to crash. How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download test file from Megaupload link listed on https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=603938 2. Play above file in totem or with "mplayer -ass" Actual results: totem and mplayer crash Expected results: Movie plays and displays colored fonts in different places. Additional info: See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=751517 for another bug report that is currently assigned to totem. Fix is to upgrade to libass 0.9.13. See https://bugs.gentoo.org/377255?id=377255 and http://code.google.com/p/libass/source/browse/Changelog?name=0.9.13. I downloaded libass 0.9.13 and recompiled the Fedora RPM with 0.9.13 and it resolved the issue.
