Upgrading to libass-0.10.0 resolves the issue.

Could you please update to version 0.10.0 of libass?

You'll have to forgive me. I'm new at this. How do I download the package for testing?

No need to apologize, I was just advising you ;-)

As for the download, you can either grab it from koji, or wait till it gets pushed to updates-testing. IIRC this bug will get updated by then and will contain info how to test the update.

Thanks. I finally found it here:
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=273766

It would be nice if those two were easily linked somehow.

Anyway, installed from koji. Tests ok and resolves bugs.

Comment 5 Fedora Update System 2011-11-13 05:31:36 UTC
Package libass-0.10.0-1.fc16:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing libass-0.10.0-1.fc16'
as soon as you are able to.
Please go to the following url:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2011-15836
then log in and leave karma (feedback).
