Description of problem:
After yesterdays update I am experiencing random problems in several kdepim applications.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kdepim-4.4.11.1-5.fc15.x86_64

How reproducible:
sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use kdepim for quite a while. Things are running relatively stable
2. update the following KDE packages: kdelibs-4.6.5-7.fc15, soprano-2.6.0-3.fc15, qt-4.7.4-6.fc15

Actual results:
- kmail complains that it cannot sign a message because it cannot contact the GPG service. Happens witrh nearly every 2nd email.
- kmail complains about random folders like this: "The UID cache file for folder Kolab Server/shared/lists/roundcube.net/users could not be written. There could be a problem with file system permission."
There were no changes on the server side that could cause this message.

Expected results:
No problems

Additional info:
Yes, I did log out and even rebooted after the update.

Can you try downgrading to kdelibs-4.6.5-6,
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=268087

to see if that helps any?

Also, is your $HOME non-local, say, on nfs or something similar?

If downgrading kdelibs helps, this is probably the same as bug #753709. Unfortunately, the regression from the lockfile patch hits EVERYONE, not just those on non-local home directories.

Update to kdelibs-4.6.5-8 did not help. Kmail is completely hosed, I cannot even delete/move messages any more.

Next up is a downgrade-

So, since downgrading kdelibs didn't help, this isn't bug #753709.

What was the last qt package in F15? I see quite a lot of 4.7.4 builds in koji, but in bodhi I only see 4.7.7-2. Is this correct?

It looks like it really was bug 753709. After upgrading to kdelibs-4.6.5-8 the problems with establishing a connection to kleopatra when sending a mail disappeared. What remained was that I could not move/copy mails, I could not even open then. I then realized that it only affects certain folders, so I am now rebuilding my local IMAP cache and things seem to be fine again. Will test some more though.

Ok, I can confirm that things are back to normal with 4.6.5-8, only -7 was bad.
