Yes... and somehow these are pulled out of testing. But it seems like the effect continues even after the downgrace....is there a prelink or something one has to do?
After downgrading to glibc-2.14.90-14.x86_64, I have not encountered the problem yet. This is newly installed system from Fedora-16-x86_64-Live-Desktop. I missed to check that. but as far as I remember: 1. performed full update 2. installed vlc from rpmfusion 3. installed xen 4. booted to xen mode 5. performed full update again which lead me to broken glibc-2.14.90-16.x86_64 6. booted to xen mode again 7. ran firefox in xen mode fedora system but the firefox crash 8. booted to normal fedora system 9. and found that 'yum update', PackageKit, firefox, Evolution and Empaty keep crashing when I tried to launch them 10. and found that 'yum downgrade glibc' still works which save me to fix this problem.
