Chapter 2. Configuration "2.1. Configuring MRG Grid for Microsoft Windows" This MUST be changed to: "2.1. Configuring MRG Grid" since I believe it is meant to be a somewhat generic description of Grid basic configuration and there are RHEL specific references in the follow-on sections such as RPM, the touch command and /etc/condor/config.d/, none of which apply to a Grid MS Windows installation. 1. Global configuration file "The file is managed by the condor.rpm package." STRONGLY RECOMMEND changing to: "The file is installed by the Grid RPM package." *Starting and stopping jobs under Microsoft Windows* COMMENT (no specific edits offered at this time) Paragraphs 1-6 are VERY detailed and describe the job submission protocol and startd job execution behavior in a manner that outweighs other content. There are obviously references to Windows specifics in here but the important general information should be elevated and relocated to a new section (or architecture chapter?). Windows-specific run considerations (e.g., registry, WM_CLOSE, SetConsoleCtrlHandler()) would still need an overlay of some kind.
