Description of problem: Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: 3/3 Prerequisites : Rhel 5.8 client with following subscription manager subscription-manager-migration-0.98.3-1.git.2.1a022f3.el5_7 subscription-manager-0.98.3-1.git.2.1a022f3.el5_7 subscription-manager-gnome-0.98.3-1.git.2.1a022f3.el5_7 subscription-manager-firstboot-0.98.3-1.git.2.1a022f3.el5_7 Steps to repro : Register client to RHN and subscribe some additional subscription. Execute “rhn-migrate-classic-to-rhsm” command on client console Expected Result : Client should un register from rhn and register to RHSM. Actual Result : Error displays on console : Error: Current release RHEL-5.8 is not supported for migration to Red Hat Subscription Manager.
