As mentioned in the other one I reported it downstream: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=1126426&aid=3440184&group_id=250595 So let's see what they are about to do on this issue.
Hi, I just initiated a build of the newest svn version of texstudio. It would be great if you could confirm if the bugs are gone. http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=3554457 You could use these packages by downloading them from the koji page and installing it via yum install path/to/rpm. If there are any problems first try with the --nogpgcheck option. Hope this helps, Johannes
sorry, still occurs - too often hit F6 will randomly crash texstudio... i opened the pdf with f7, stayed about 5 seconds on f6 and then scrolled in the pdf version: 2.2 (SVN??) but its randomly so i cannot 100% reproduce it - sorry

looks like thats another problem in libpoppler - should i also publish this crash?
Why do stay about 5 secs on the F6 key? I mean that's not really necessary and could as Benito pointed out in the upstream bug report lead to crashes mostly due to poppler bugs. Perhaps just adjust your patterns of use a bit ;-)
Ok an additional fix provided by upstream is included in this scratch build. Please try and tell me if it's fixed: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=3578908
the main reason why i reported this bug is: texstudio simply crashed, without staying on F6 for some seconds. I just figured out that if i do this, it crashes too. I firstly thought thats the same crash, but it isnt. The first crash occured after (iirc) removing a file and hitting F6... but as said, i can't reproduce it by 100% Its not my pattern to stay on F6 - i mostly hit it twice or three times to get that biblatex stuff compiled correctly.
after about 8 hours of working with texstudio, it crashed again... the gui just freezed, and then got killed by the kernel (sigsegv). i cannot post the bug as it says the backtrace is unusable... no idea why or how to fix that.

Sorry for the delay, the last crash is not related to the inital bug report and should be fixed also in a later svn revision. Do you still see many crashes in the pdf viewer? If not I would most probably close those bug reports since they seem to be fixed upstream. I could of course provide an updated rpm if you want who incorporates the latest svn. Thanks a lot for reporting and I wish you all the best for your thesis!
Can be closed. Did not occur anymore - thanks.
sorry... please reopen, just encountered it again :( i cannot reproduce it. what i did: i added some new authors in my bibliography and hit F11 and then F6
