Description Bill Gradwohl 2011-11-27 03:55:59 UTC
Description of problem:
KDE DE, as root user or as mere mortal, modem is not recognized in the GUI. I can see the modem being detected in the logs buy I can't configure the modem in the DE. Mobile Broadband is grayed out.

I believe I also had the same problem on F15 via Gnome3 - didn't spend too much time investigating that as I was going to nuke the box for F16.

I know the modem works on my other machines running F14, and on a Windows box.
It is detecting the 1c9e:1001 to 1c9e:6061 correctly, as I KNOW that's what it is from older releases.
