Description Göran Uddeborg 2002-10-11 21:37:44 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020830

Description of problem:
Trying to display a file named something with # in eog fails. It says it is
unable to open the file.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):1.0.2-3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.cd /tmp
2.ppmforge > '#.ppm'
3.eog '#.ppm'

Actual Results: The main eog window is empty, and a message window comes up
with the message "Unable to open file:///tmp/#.ppm"

Additional info:

It is not the file content which is broken. Doing this

4.ln '#.ppm' x.ppm
5.eog x.ppm

works fine.

Trying to open the files from the menues instead works the same way.
