Comment 1 Philippe Makowski 2011-11-28 10:01:59 UTC
I guess that you don't have /var/run/firebird directory
but after a reboot, it should be created by tmpfiles.d
can you confirm that ?

if yes, I need to add a dependency to tmpfiles.d in firebird-superserver.service
I need to find how

Comment 2 Philippe Makowski 2011-11-28 19:50:49 UTC
seems that we need to run :
systemd-tmpfiles --create /etc/tmpfiles.d/firebird.conf
I will rewrite the spec for that

Comment 3 Artemy Kapitula, Mail.Ru Cloud Solutions 2011-11-29 03:55:46 UTC
Yes, after reboot systemd created /var/run/firebird.

P.S.: maybe it will be more secure to use (0700,firebird,firebird) attributes for a temporary directory?

Comment 4 Philippe Makowski 2011-11-29 07:11:28 UTC
update is coming in testing

P.S. : yes I changed it to 0775 firebird firebird that is enough secure for that
